This next two questions are questions that makes you think. God expects our surrender. It has its foundation in the very nature of God. Think about all that God has created that is already surrender to Him. Now think about ourselves. Did God create us as surrendered beings?
Question: 5
All things are surrendered to God, the sun, the moon, the stars, the flowers, the trees and the grass, but there is one thing that God created that is not surrendered to Him: What would you say that is and why? (Page 3)
Question: 6
Can God be fully God if we are not fully or partially surrendered to Him? Why, or why not? (Page 3)
ANSWER To Question 5 & 6 (As stated by the Author)
And God's redeemed children, oh, can you think that God can work His work if there is only half or a part of them surrendered? God cannot do it. God is life, and love and blessing, and power, and infinite beauty, and God delights to communicate Himself to every child who is prepared to receive Him; but ah! this one lack of absolute surrender is just the thing that hinders God. And now He comes, and as God, He claims it
Do you fully understand what the author is saying here? I believe it because it happened in my life. God was trying to get a hold of my life for many years as a child of His, but I continued to ignore or refuse to surrender to Him. Until that very morning in November of 2013, God had to take almost everything away from me to get my attention.
God will claim our surrender to Him at one point in our lives because He does love us and He wants the very best us...His blessings. The question is: Will you surrender now or later? The choice is ours to make.
