Absolute Surrender, written by Andrew Murray, is an excellent book addressing very clearly what "absolute surrender" is and what it means in one's life.
I have written a workbook taking each chapter of this book and address questions to better understand the depth that book has to offer. Each posting will offer one to two questions for open discussion. You can order this book by clicking the book icon above, so that you can follow along with the blog postings. You can then answer the questions by going to the comment link.
Below is the introduction for the workbook questions from the book, Absolute Surrender, that we will be discussing on this blog. I will be addressing questions from each chapter.
Coming to my own personal surrender in November of 2013, and after studying "Absolute Surrender" for the following three years, the Lord lead me to write "Salvation To Surrender"
This book is my personal journey I took over a 35 year period of my constant struggle with my Lord and the struggle we all face as Christians daily in our lives.
You can click the book above if you wish to order a copy of the paperback, hardcopy cover or on Kindle format.
Compiled from the book “Absolute Surrender” by Andrew Murray
This workbook has become a labor of love for me as the Lord has taken me on a personal journey in finding out what true and absolute surrender means in one’s life. As a “saved” Christian for over 35 years and struggling with my own “self-will”, and the on-going turmoil that most Christians face on a daily basis… it has become my heart’s desire to share the truth of surrender and what it means to truly find “true rest” in one’s life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As stated in the book by the author, Andrew Murray, “Absolute Surrender”:
“No words can tell the sad state of the Church of Christ on earth. I wish I had words to speak what I sometimes feel about it. I do not speak of the nominal Christians, or of the professing Christians, but I speak of hundreds and thousands of honest, earnest Christians who are not living a life in the power of God or to His glory. So little power, so little devotion or consecration to God, so little perception of the truth that a Christian is a man utterly surrendered to God’s will”!

It is my hope and prayer, for all who go through this in-depth study of “Absolute Surrender”, that they too may find what it means to be at “true rest” with their Lord.
I will be posting one to two questions along with the answers from the book, Absolute Surrender, on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays each week for open discussion and comments. It is my joy to help all who want to know what it means to find "true rest" in your life.
