Movie Summary
Almost everyone one of us, men and women, journey through life unaware of a spiritual battle that rages all around us. This fight is a battle for our soul, our eternal destiny. We wake up every day, month-after-month, year-after-year living our lives believing that the choices we make have no consequences to the final chapter of our lives.

This true story takes us on a journey of one man’s life, as we see the chaos and the damage he helps create in his own life, along with the life of his family and others all around him.
​
What is unique about this man’s journey is that we, the audience, see this spiritual battle raging around him. The very choices he makes is influenced by the conflict of this man’s fight for his eternal destiny.

Journey of the Movie Process

Production of the movie demo began on December 16, 2024, and shooting ended on December 19, 2024. Submission of demo was submitting to Angel Studios in late December.
The demo is voted on by Guild members to decide upon the worthiness of the project. Upon approval by the Guild, Angel Studios will move forward to the funding process. Unfortunately, we did not receive the required rating to move forward but was given the option to resubmit.
​We will be posting updates, photos and clips of the project as we move forward in the filming process. Thank you again for your interest and we would appreciate your prayers that we would remain faithful to God's message and calling. To God Be the Glory! (Romans 11:36)
Update: 06/2025:
Since January of this year, we have been working on the editing of this project. We have reshot the opening scene and made some small cuts and changes to the demo. We believe this new edited and final version creates a more precise narrative of the story. Please play the new video to the right and read the summary that will be submitted with the torch video. Keep us in your prayers that we receive the necessary rating from the Guild Members this time around.
Update: 07/01/2025:
Great News! We have passed the Angel Studio's Defender Guild voting process. This means that our project has been selected to move forward with the Angel Studio's platform. We have to go through another voting process before we are fully accepted for crowdfunding for our project. We will be working on editing our video to move forward. Keep us in your prayers as the Lord leads in the next editing and reshoot of the Torch Video.

Producer's Cut 06/2025
This Torch submission is a proof-of-concept for Salvation to Surrender: A Journey to Redemption, a narrative currently in development. This 20-minute short film offers a glimpse into the world, tone and dramatic potential of the story and screenplay. It is intended to serve as a demonstration of concept and vision for the prospective Guild Members, Investors and Collaborators. The final production will be fully reimagined with a new director, a largely new cast and upgraded production elements including authentic locations and cinematic settings
This video only touches the beginning of this true-life story of one man’s journey into finding his peace with his Lord. A spiritual battle for this man’s soul gives us a small glimpse into this man’s selfish choices and deceitful lifestyle he is living. Even though he becomes a “born-again” Christian in his early twenties, the battle has only begun until he finally comes to realize that his true peace and rest with his Lord can only be found in his full and absolute surrender to Him…Hence, the title of this story…Salvation to Surrender, A Journey to Redemption.
