In the Book of Isaiah, the prophet speaks of drawing closer to the Lord while there is still time. He speaks about "our ways" are not God's ways.
Isaiah 55: 6-7
Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

Verses: 8-9
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Since the day that Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary, we have entered a "time of grace" with God. He wishes that no one should perish. He would like for all to come to know Him. But not all will...Because God has given each of us a "free will", to choose Him or not choose Him. That is how gracious our God is. He will never force Himself on us. The sad thing is, is that "our time of grace" is coming to an end. Our Lord Jesus will be coming back soon. That time could be this week, next month, next year...no one really knows except our God.
But the "signs of His coming" continually shows that the time is near. Our world cannot keep going in the way it is going now. Our world leaders are calling for a "one-world" government. And we know what that means..."the Antichrist's" time to rule and reign here on the earth.
1 John 2: 18
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
Brothers and sisters, the time is near! We must come to giving up our stubborn ways and "absolute surrender" all to our Lord and God. Our ways are not God's ways. He knows what is right for our lives. We have continually messed up our lives by choosing our own selfish ways. Let us come to choosing His ways for our lives now.
1John 4: 3
and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
PERSONNAL COMMENT:
Our God is truly a loving God and Father. He sent Himself to become a "man", in the person of Jesus Christ, to die to for us. How much more can He show His love to you and me? Come now and "surrender" all to Him so that you may become a child of His as well. The time is short, seek Him while you can.
