Today's world has changed so drastically within the last six months. Almost every person is fighting for their own survival. People are losing their jobs, their financial wealth, their families and even their lives.

It seems like we are in the middle of the ocean without a boat or life jacket, fighting to stay afloat. There is so much fear among us that we don't know what to do or where to turn to. Our hope is continually diminishing as our days continue.

So where do we turn to? Who do we put our trust in? The people we thought we could trust are no longer trustworthy. So, what is the solution to this whole madness? The only direction I can suggest is to fall, fall to our knees before God, and "surrender all" to Him. When I say surrender, I mean, give all your worries, anxieties, and burdens to Him. Do not hold on to anything and watch Him begin to work miracles in your life. God's love for us is like a shepherd who looks after his sheep.

Matthew: 11: 28-30 (NKJV)

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The Lord wants us to come to Him with our burdens and worries and to lay them at His feet. We must put on "His yoke" and begin to walk side-by-side with Him. Our yoke is the yoke of our "absolute surrender" to our Lord. Not until then will we ever find true peace within ourselves.

Ezekiel 34: 11-12

11 ‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.

Personnel Comment:

This may sound easy, but it is not. So many times, we go before our God with so much pride in our hearts. We must come to God with a broken heart and then allow Him to begin to pick up the pieces. I can personally give you my word, that if you do this, you will begin to see God working every day of your life if you remain surrendered to Him daily, moment-by-moment.
