Our faith in God can be such a fragile state-of-mind with Him. We are constantly being put to the test of our faith in Him. Hard times and severe trials will come and go in our lives, but does our faith grow deeper in God, or does our faith grow weaker as we go through the various trials?

We must come to believe in the Person of God and let us not put our faith in the situations we are going through at the time, that will only bring about disappointment. But believing in the Person of God, can bring strength and deeper faith in Him. The fragileness of our faith can only come when we put our faith in the outcome of the situations of our life, and not in the of Person of God.

If we have put the salvation of our faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, then our sins have been forgiven, and have been taken away from us, "as far as the east is to the west". Our daily sins we must confess to God continually and then as we confess them, we accept His forgiveness in the Person of Jesus and then we move on. But our faith in God, should always remain the same, trusting in the Person of God.

As we read the story of Job and all that happened to him, Job never gave up his faith in God, he may have questioned God to why the trial was happening to him, but Job always believed in the Person of God. There was a point in Job's trial that he questioned God's reason for allowing such a trial to happen. But God never really addressed Job question, but instead addressed Job with many questions...how dare Job question the Creator of the Universe. Our question comes to this: Are we going to question God on the outcome of our trials or are we going to rely on our faith in the Person of God?

PERSONNAL COMMENT:

As Christians, we come to believe that our salvation is based on the very act of the "death and resurrection of Jesus" on the cross but let us not forget who allowed that to happen. God allow His Son to die for us so that we may be able to spend our eternity with Him. If we can believe this, then why can't we believe in the very Person of God when it comes to our trials and hard times in our lives? We must "absolutely surrender" all to Him, in the very character of God. Let us believe whole heartedly that His love is "everlasting", and He will not allow anything to happen to us that is not for our good, if we only believe in the very Person of God!
