December 16, 2020: The Full Power of the Holy Spirit Lives Within Us. Are We Utilizing That Power?

As I was reading in the Book of Ephesians, I was amazed at what the Apostle Paul wrote to the people of Ephesus...To remind them of the power that was within them because of their faith they placed in Jesus as their Savior.
Paul states that their eyes may be enlightened of the hope to which they were called in Jesus. And that the power that is available to them, through the power Holy Spirit, is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of God, in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 1: 18-20
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms...
But then he goes on to remind them of how they used to live for themselves...Living a life of empty pursuits, sin, transgressions and following the ways of the world.
Ephesians 2: 1-2
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
But then the Apostle Paul goes on to encourage them that since they have placed their trust in Jesus Christ and have "surrendered" themselves to God, they no longer have to work or pursue empty desires, but all they have to do is be "absolutely surrendered" to God and allow Him to do the work for them..."Through the power of the Holy Spirit". Ephesians 2: 10
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do".
And then the Apostle Paul goes on to remind them of the promise that Jesus gave to them and us, as children of the "Most High".
Ephesians 3: 20-21
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
PERSONNAL COMMENT:
What more can be said other than what has been said in verses 20-21 above: "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us". Are we utilizing that power that is available to us? Let us come to absolute surrender to our God, so that His power maybe evident in our lives and to the world around us.
