December 29, 2021: God Has Given Us an Invitation to Enjoy His Blessings. Let Us Take Him Up on It.

As we come to end the year 2021, many of us can look back and say that this has been a difficult and tumultuous year.

But before we leave this year behind us, let us thank God for His continued love and grace He has shown throughout these past twelve months. Even though times were hard, His hand was always upon us.

In reading God's word in the Book of Revelation, the Holy Spirit has highlighted the following two verses for us to enjoy:

Revelation 22: 16- 17

“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Through God, our Father, Jesus our Savior, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have an Invitation to "Take the water of Life freely".

PERSONAL COMMITMENT:

So, as we close out this year, if you have not taken God up on His Invitation, then today is a good day to do so. Let us put our "total trust and surrender" in Him. Let us not try to carry our burdens forward into the coming new year. Invite Jesus to be a part of your life moving forward. Take the "Water of Life" freely and come to enjoy His true rest in our life. Have a very Happy New Year!
