February 12, 2021: The "Bride of Christ...We the Church", Are at War Against the "World System".

As our lives are bombarded with the forever constant lies of this "world system", we the "Bride of Christ, the Christian church", are in turmoil everyday wondering what our outcome will be. But the hope we have as the Church, our future and destiny has already been fully determined and established by our God and Savior, and that is Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19: 1-2

After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:

“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

2 for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute,

who corrupted the earth by her adulteries, He has avenged on her the blood of his servants!”

The great prostitute was the city of Babylon as referred to in Revelation 17: 1-6. Babylon was the "world system" at the time that corrupted the whole earth. Today, our world system is controlled by no other than Satan himself and the sins of mankind. As our world continually rolls further and further into darkness, we as Christians can become alarmed to when this turmoil will come to an end. As Christians, let us not fear, for the Wedding of the Lamb has come, and the bride has made herself ready...That is we, the "Church of Jesus Christ!"

Revelation 19: 6-9 (NKJV)

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah!

For our Lord God Almighty reigns. 7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!

For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

As we come near to the end of this "world system", let us prepare ourselves in our "absolute surrender" before our God. Let us give up everything that belongs to this world system of sin and focus our eyes on our true and loving Savior, Jesus Christ. We have nothing to fear for the battle has already been won.

PERSONNAL COMMENT:

Let us put our full and absolute trust in our God and Savior. Let us believe in His promises and prepare ourselves for the great wedding Feast of the Lamb and we, the "Bride of Christ".
