This next question sort of goes down the similar road as question 7, but with a different emphasis. Suppose you have already made up your mind to want to fully surrender to our Lord, but are still afraid to do so, what must we come to do in our hearts this next question is asking.

Question: 8

What does God ask of us if we are willing to surrender to Him, but are still afraid to do so? Does He ask us to blindly jump in with both feet and not fear? (Page 5)

ANSWER To Question 8 (As stated by the Author)

I pray you, learn to know and trust your God now. Say: "My God, I am willing that Thou should make me willing." If there is anything holding you back, or any sacrifice you are afraid of making, come to God now, and prove how gracious your God is, and be not afraid that He will command from you what He will not bestow.

God is there for us to help us with our own personal surrender. He knows that we may be scared to do so. But He knows your very heart what you are feeling. Come to Him now and ask Him to help you with your surrender. Praise God for His love for us.
