November 25, 2020: Having a Heart of Thanksgiving To God Can Bring Great Comfort to Every Situation.

Philippians 4: 6

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

As we come into this Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Seasons, let us remember to always be thankful in every situation that we encounter. God reminds us in Philippians 4: 6, that, "by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God".

There are times in our lives that it is hard to be thankful when things look so bad when we may be struggling with not having a job, finances, our marriage and so much more. But let us take these situations to God. Give Him the opportunity to show you that He is alive in your life, that He loves you and knows what you are going through. Pray for understanding and wisdom and be assured He will show you the way.

Let us remember to "surrender" every situation and circumstance to Him, that His grace and peace may fill our hearts. May you all have a Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends and most importantly with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
