This next question is a very unique question in which I have failed in recently. As we come to consent to our surrender with our Lord and we acknowledge Him to lead us in our surrender, then we must now allow Him to lead us through the Holy Spirit as He has planned.
What is so easy to do, (as I did), is to know that when the Lord is leading us to do something in our surrender, but then we step back into the decision making, (our self-will), and try to do "this something" in our strength, not His. We must constantly be in check with ourselves to make sure that we are not getting in the way of the Lord's working in our life...solely 100% His leading, none of us.
Question: 11
When we have come to finally trust God in our surrender, what are the “two sides” of that life of absolute surrender we must be willing to do? (Page 8)
ANSWER To Question 11 (As stated by the Author)
Such a life has two side - on the one side, absolute surrender to work what God wants you to do; on the other side, to let God work what He wants to do.
